Hi. I’m Brad Shively. I want to help you land a job at your dream tech company.
I’ve worked in technology for over a decade, and I’ve been fortunate enough to land jobs at some amazing companies, including Google, Uber, and Aurora Innovation. I’ve spent the last six years building and growing teams in the autonomous vehicle space; by day I manage a large team of engineers working on software tools.
I’ve also spent quite a bit of time over the last few years helping relatives, friends, and customers:

This site is my attempt to take all the lessons I’ve learned, distill them down into their simplest and most useful forms, and share them with you. I’ll share all the best tips I have for how to land an interview at one of your dream companies, what to expect during the interview process, the art of salary negotiation, and many other aspects of career growth.
Along the way, I’ll describe how I think about common career challenges as a manager responsible for building and growing software teams at an elite tech company.
